What Does the Student Experience Look Like at Wentworth
How Does Co-op Impact a Students Academic Experience
Wentworth's co-op program is an integral part of the academic experience, allowing students to apply what they learn in the classroom to real-world challenges before they graduate. Through full-time co-op placements with leading employers, students deepen their understanding of course concepts, develop in-demand technical and professional skills, and gain valuable insight into their chosen industries.
Students typically complete two co-op semesters: the first in the spring of their junior year and the second in the fall of their senior year. By taking courses during their final two summers, students remain on track to graduate in four years while accumulating at least two semesters of professional work experience.
Backed by more than 50 years of employer partnerships, Wentworth's co-op program is recognized as one of the nation's premier experiential learning models. As a result, 60% of Wentworth students receive a post-graduation job offer from a co-op employer, and 98% are employed or pursuing further education within their field after graduation.
